When you drive in Nicaragua, you have to pay attention to everything surrounding you. You never know when a car will pull out in front of you, a person will dart out into the road, or a car will be parked on the side of the road blocking your lane. The rules here are much different than they are in the States. While it seems like anything goes, you can still get pulled over by the police for not stopping at a stop sign, or for actually stopping at that same sign!

This morning on the way to Spanish School we had this road block:











As you can see... you never know what to expect in Nicaragua!
