The rainy season has begun. We heard rumors that it wouldn't start until June, however, we've had downpours the last 3 out of 4 days. Of course this brings out a whole new dynamic to the country; there are more bugs, the floors are a lot muddier, the humidity is quite a bit higher, and the roads are obviously affected. We didn't have any rain yesterday, but you can see that there is still standing water in some roads, and others where things just wash away. We're still glad to be in Nicaragua!
