This building is in downtown Managua. It was built in 1935 as the National Palace and government office. Now, the National Library, as well as the National Museum are located here. The National Palace of Culture (Palacio Nacional de la Cultura) was one of few building that survived the earthquake 1972 that destroyed many buildings.
