El Malecon is a park in Managua with a view of Lake Xolotlan. There is a little port there named Port Salvador Allende. At this port there is also a ship that will take you for a ride around a little island named The Island of Love. Also at the malecon you will find the biggest and best theater in Nicaragua, it's an ampatheater called La Concha Acustica (The Acoustic Shell). At the park you will also find various restaurants, bars, and clubs, and most of the people who go there go to drink and dance. It is said to be a very dangerous place, although they are trying to take better care of it and improve it. The above picture is of the park during the day, the picture below is of La Concha Acustica.
