This morning our kids service didn’t go as well as we’d hoped. The kids weren’t well-behaved and didn’t listen. However, we realize that we aren’t here to be “managers” to the kids, in which case we might think this morning was a failure, but we are here to be “ministers” to the kids, and ministry requires you to love people where they are at. Continue praying for our ministry here in Nicaragua and for the kids here that come from rough neighborhoods. As we talked about this morning, God desires a relationship with all of us! Here are a few pictures from this morning!
Ileana spending time with a sweet little girl
Katie getting an arm workout holding 2 kids!
Doesn’t this make you want to adopt an adorable Nicaragua child?
Singing “Alelu, Alelu, Aleluya, Gloria a Dios”
Girls hopping on one foot saying the memory verse (1 Thess. 5:16-18)
The lesson: the downcast pirate came out, because he didn’t think he could have a relationship with God. Jeremy explained that he could and taught him how to pray and that anyone, no matter what they’ve done is desired by God! The pirate joyfully skipped off the stage! And the kids learned that they, too, matter to God.
