Monday, the One by One staff had a chance to put on a summer day camp with the 20s team from Woodcreek Church for the kids from House of Hope, or Casa Esperanza. We rented a local sports ministry center and had a great day of games, worship, sports, and a fun craft where each child got to design their own backpack. Since these girls have come out of prostitution and most of them do not have much, they were all excited about their fun, new, and even personalized bags. The kids and the team had a great time getting to know each other and since the team will be working at House of Hope this week, the girls are excited to continue to get to spend time with their new friends from Texas. Pray for the Lord to work in the hearts of the team members and that He would use them to minister however He desires here in Nicaragua!
